Panest Football Academy third division side, Sunyani Grandmasters today beat Diamond Stars 6 : 2 to maintain their second position in the Sunyani league.

There were two unique features of this fixture being that, first it was the first ever mid-week game in the 2022 league. Secondly, it was the first to be play off the Panest Academy’s football grounds which had host all the league matches to date.

Considering the above, one would have expected some level of dip in the performance of the side. However, Panest showed they mean business and dished out their highest goal scoring tally of the season so far.
